《哈姆雷特》是由威廉·莎士比亞創作於1599年至1602年間的一部悲劇作品。戲劇講述了叔叔克勞狄斯謀害了哈姆雷特的父親，篡取了王位，並娶了國王的遺孀喬特魯德;哈姆雷特王子因此爲父王向叔叔復仇。
《哈姆雷特》是莎士比亞所有戲劇中篇幅最長的一部。本劇是前身爲莎士比亞紀念劇院的英國皇家莎士比亞劇團演出頻度最高的劇目。世界著名悲劇之一，也是莎士比亞最負盛名的劇本，具有深刻的悲劇意義、複雜的人物性格以及豐富完美的悲劇藝術手法，代表着整個西方文藝復興時期文學的最高成就。同《麥克白》、《李爾王》和《奧賽羅》一起組成莎士比亞“四大悲劇”。
